Refunds and Payments Policy
1. Introduction At White Ladder Homes, we maintain a transparent and flexible payment structure that is tailored to each project. Our full deposit and payment terms can be found in the Deposits and Payments section of our website. This document provides an in-depth version of our policy regarding payments and refunds.
2. Payment Terms

Projects under £1000 or lasting less than one day do not require a deposit. Payment is due on the final day of the project, either in cash to the contractor or via direct transfer to the company account.

Projects between £1000 and £10,000 generally require a deposit between 25-40%, as agreed during contract finalization. The remaining payments are structured throughout the project, with 10-20% held until completion and an optional 2.5% retention for up to six months.

Projects over £10,000 require a legally binding contract, and deposits are agreed upon within the contract terms.

No unexpected payments will ever be requested outside of the agreed payment structure.

Payment structures are negotiated before work begins and tailored to the client and project timeline.
3. Refund Policy

Any payments due for a refund will be processed within 3-5 business days from the date of confirmation.

Refunds are only applicable under the terms agreed in the contract and payment structure.

Deposits are generally non-refundable once work has commenced, except in cases where White Ladder Homes is unable to fulfil contractual obligations.

Any disputes regarding payments or refunds must be raised formally, and they will be handled in line with our Customer Complaint Procedure Policy.
4. Dispute Resolution

If a client disputes a payment, White Ladder Homes will conduct a full review of the project and payment terms.

If a resolution cannot be reached directly, the dispute will be referred to the Customer Complaint Procedure Policy for full resolution.

White Ladder Homes upholds the codes of conduct required by Trading Standards and can be referred to whenever necessary.
